Purdue MEP Develops Four New Offerings

FISHERS,  –

Our team is constantly working on new services and solutions to bring to our clients. To ensure success, your company must consistently deliver products at optimum quality, at competitive prices, on-time, with minimal waste. In order to assist manufacturers with this, we are excited to announce three new training opportunities to help Indiana manufacturers.

Competitiveness Review

To assist manufacturers with creating a defined, prioritized plan of action, Purdue MEP has launched the competitiveness review program. This initiative is the core of Purdue MEP’s business growth services, and the first step in a strategic, hands-on approach to help improve a company’s performance. The competitiveness review process is a comprehensive evaluation of a company’s operations that appraises capabilities and gauges the effectiveness of business systems.

Corrective Action & Preventive Action Training (CAPA)

In this one-day course, Purdue MEP experts will guide your organization in developing and writing effective corrective and preventive action (CAPA) reports. An effective CAPA system allows your organization to not only eliminate problems but also ensure they don't occur again. However, most organizations lack a systematic or efficient CAPA process and therefore end up dealing repeatedly with the same or similar problems.

In this one-day course, you will learn how to accurately define a problem, gather data, determine root causes, and implement corrective action, which are the fundamental steps of the CAPA process. You'll also learn best practices for writing effective CAPA reports. The course is designed for organizations that generate either corrective or preventive actions for supplier issues, nonconforming products, audit findings, or customer complaints.
