Lean
- Kaizen Events – A Kaizen event, or a Kaizen blitz, is a focused short-term project to improve a process resulting in measured improvements accomplished with a cross-functional team.
- Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED)/Quick Changeover – Significantly reduce time required for equipment changeovers. Quicker changeovers can reduce manufacturing costs and increase flexibility.
- 5S System – Organize spaces so work can be performed efficiently, effectively, and safely with standardized procedures to maintain and control an organized workplace.
- Value Stream Mapping – Map current-state and future-state processes to better understand the total flow of a value stream, see sources of waste, and develop an improvement plan to maintain peak efficiency.
- Total Productive Maintenance – A structured approach to equipment maintenance that strives to achieve perfect production: zero unplanned equipment failures, zero small stops or slow running, zero defects, and zero accidents.
- Blue Belt – 12-day series delivered in 2-hour increments, incorporating practical Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management training. Developed specifically for Marmon Group. Delivered online with a live instructor.
