Responsibilities:
Bill is the Director of Operations for Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). Through this role, Bill is responsible for all Center administrative functions including operations, events, marketing, finance, grant oversight, sales support, third party services, and purchasing. Bill has 30 years of experience with the organization as he worked for Indiana BMT from 1993-2005 and was one of the few staff members who transitioned to Purdue to start up the MEP Center in 2005. Bill has served the organization in a variety of roles including finance, operations, third party services, and grant management.
Background:
Bill has extensive experience in operational and financial management in various public and private organizations. In addition, he is the chair of the Center’s work-life “BALANCE” committee, a graduate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) MEP Emerging Leaders program, and represented Purdue MEP on the NIST MEP Performance and Evaluation Working Group. He has also presented at the 2023 NIST MEP National Network Forum.
Bill earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Business from Hanover College.
