C.J. Boots Casket Company

C.J. Boots Casket Company was founded in 1999 by Christopher J. Boots out of a small shop in Lapel, IN. A custom furniture and cabinet maker by trade, Chris started building hardwood caskets. After tremendous growth in the first year in business, Chris found it necessary to relocate its operations to a larger facility in Anderson, IN. The company continued to experience growth and in November of 2009 relocated its operations to the current location north of downtown Anderson. C.J. Boots currently supplies caskets to other casket companies and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. By combining the skills of traditional craftsmen and the use of state-of-the-art woodworking machinery, C.J. Boots Casket Company now manufactures only the highest quality Solid Hardwood, Veneer, and Cremation Caskets. We continue to develop new and innovative manufacturing processes in an effort to bridge the gap between “Old World Craftsmanship” and “Lean Manufacturing”.
