A one-day workshop to help you better understand how your HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) system works and ways to optimize its efficiency and performance. Learn basic approaches to cut costs, improve comfort, and reduce maintenance costs.
Workshop qualifies for 0.8 CEUs (continuing education units) through Purdue University. If you are interested in obtaining CEUs, you will need to fill out an application form at the end of the session. Workshop also qualifies for 8 PDHs (professional development hours) through the Indiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. You will be given a Certificate of Attendance to submit to the Board for these credits.
This training is designed for plant personnel (energy managers, maintenance personnel, HVAC systems & control engineers), as well as maintenance personnel at commercial and institutional facilities, but is applicable for employees at every level and department.
Participants will learn: How today’s HVAC system was developed and where the industry is going. How to reduce energy consumption and improve system operation without compromising critical environments.
