This workshop covers the current cyber threat to small business and introduces a methodology to set up a cybersecurity program for a business.

Objectives:

  • Explain the current cyber threat facing small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Review the DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Explain the "Effective Method to Raise the Cyber-Health of Your Business" as outlined in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171.
  • State the purpose of Purdue MEP’s Cybersecurity Assessment and Remediation Program.

Intended audience: Owners, managers, decision makers, and organizational leaders of small and medium-sized businesses. Not intended for IT technicians.
