Webinar Description:

In this course, Michael Semmens will discuss threats from the cyber domain, define the requirements for protecting covered defense information (CDI) or controlled unclassified information (CUI), and describe the NIST standards with specific emphasis on NIST 800-171. In addition, Mr. Semmens will define the process of assessment to compliance and share available tools.

After taking this course, participants will have:

  • a clear understanding of the need for cyber risk management/compliance
  • understanding of the regulatory requirements and the standards they prescribe, and
  • a top-level understanding of the tools and processes required to obtain and maintain a state of compliance and strong security profile.

Michael G.
