Debra manages the scheduling, coordination and execution of all MEP public workshops and events.
Debra has over ten years of experience in the areas of marketing, public relations, and event planning. Prior to her time at Purdue she worked for AT&T, AT&T Advertising Solutions, and Yellow Pages (YP) in St. Louis, Mo. In 2013 she moved on to serve as the senior marketing specialist at an international non-profit organization. Debra provided marketing support and represented the organization to stakeholders at regional and national outreach conferences and development events. In 2015 Debra was the first employee brought on to the Purdue MEP staff through the Made In Indiana 2020 initiative.
She graduated from Purdue University (West Lafayette, In) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising.
Debra currently resides in Greenfield on the 4th generation family farm. She is a proud member of the Purdue Alumni Association and enjoys attending Purdue sporting events. She is also involved locally with a philanthropic sorority and enjoys living in the community where her family’s history dates back to 1904. Debra is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) where she serves on the education committee. Staying up to date on event trends, she is an active member of International Live Events Association (ILEA) and Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC).
