Description

Helping your people move toward their performance potential is of utmost importance to any organization.  This seminar will help you master the coaching skills that ensure peak performance and maximize goal achievement from your people.

 

Objectives for Managing Performance:

Assessing your performance management awareness
Understanding the performance management process
Learning to communicate with employees about performance expectations
Practicing the performance management skills
Gaining experience giving performance feedback


 Objectives for Coaching:

Understand what coaching is, why it is important, and how it supports individual and company goals
Prepare for a coaching session by using observation and analysis to build a plan for successful dialog
Hold a coaching conversation that improves an individual's performance and increase productivity
Learn to prepare for a successful coaching session that improves team member performance


Outcomes:

Ensure goal attainment
Get on the “same page” as employees concerning expectations
Deal effectively with less than satisfactory performance

 


Credits: Workshop Series qualifies for 0.3 CEUs (continuing education units) through Purdue University. There is a $15 processing fee to obtain your CEU transcript record. If you are interested in obtaining CEUs, you can prepay at registration or request an application form at the end of the session. Workshop also qualifies for 4 PDHs (professional development hours) through the Indiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. You will be given a Certificate of Attendance to submit to the Board for these credits.
