Responsibilities

Troy Haynes is a Business and Industry Advisor for the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP). Troy works with Indiana manufacturers to provide cost effective solutions in the areas of consulting, training and education, and technical assistance. Through assessments, he works to identify and eliminate areas of waste in manufacturing and back office value streams in order to create cost savings, revenue growth, and enhance organizational development.

Background

Troy has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing including; Automotive, Heavy Truck, Military and Aerospace, Medical Device, and Industrial market spaces. In addition, he has experience in composite plastics, iron and aluminum foundry, machining, and electronics. In his most recent role as Director of Manufacturing and Lean Deployment, he fully deployed lean enterprise in a turnaround situation for a multi-facility medical device and military/aerospace manufacturer. This resulted in an Industry Week’s North America best plants finalist award and helped the company become profitable and nearly double in size.

Troy earned his Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne.
