Responsibilities:

Bob is responsible for the management and continued development of the Center’s Engineering and Technology Services organization.  His responsibilities include leveraging Purdue’s extensive technical strengths and capabilities to deliver the types of services, such as Technology Adoption and Digital Manufacturing, that will meet the short and long-term needs of Indiana’s manufacturing industries.

Background: 

Bob has over 21 years of combined manufacturing, engineering, and operations management experience. Some of Bob’s previous positions include Global Asset Improvement Leader, Global Project Leader, and Manufacturing Production Leader for Dow AgroSciences. He also led the process engineering on several large-scale capital projects and provided engineering consulting services as a Senior Process Engineering Specialist with The Dow Chemical Company. While employed with Dow, Bob achieved certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt, leading multiple continuous improvement projects for the company. He graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and also earned an MBA from Northwood University. Bob joined Purdue’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center in 2015.
